ஏப்ரல் 1-ம் தேதி முட்டாள்கள் தினத்தை எப்படிக் கொண்டாடலாம் என்று யோசித்தேன். தினம் தினம் மக்களை முட்டாளடிக்கிற ஹிண்டுவைப் புரட்டியபோது பார்த்தேன். தைவானுக்கு ஹிண்டு வழங்கிய எச்சரிக்கையைப் படித்து எந்த சீனத் தூதுவரகத்தில் வழங்கப் பட்ட துண்டுச்சீட்டு என்று யோசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். அதைப் படிக்கும் போதே தைவானுக்குப் பதில் பாகிஸ்தானும், சீனாவிற்குப் பதில் பாகிஸ்தானும் மனதில் சுழன்றது. அதே போல் இன்னொரு தலையங்கத்தில் இந்தியாவிற்குப் பதிலாக சீனா சுழன்றது. இப்படி மாற்றிப் போட்டால் என்ன ?

A shrewd, affective campaign ploy. Inspirational ? Hardly. Visionary ? Certainly not.
