Greetings from Sivananda family,

We would like to introduce as our selves as a charitable organization namely SIVANANDA ORPHANAGE IN CHENNAI TAMIL NADU providing free food education and shelter for nearly 300 Orphans and 60 odd senior citizens. This organization has record of services since 1945 and has been taking care of the poor destitute, orphans, sick and the old. We also run Schools Nursery primary high schools which caters the needs of the education.

Itis public charitable trust and registered and governed by a select group of distinguished personalities. We are accountable to INTERNAL AUDIT STATE GOVT AND CENTRAL GOVT AUDITS. and also the I.T DEPT and submit returns.
We are only supported with a nominal grant for Rs 36/- per month per inmate from the Govt of Tamil Nadu and as you are aware of the fact that we spend a sum of Rs 1000/- per child for education food medical and other amenities and welfare.

We seek your support and your help to us what ever is possible and that your help in this regard will go along way to help us in maintaining 300 kids. You may participate in sponsorship ,endowments scheme,
give a feast or poor feeding on a suitable date of your choice, contributing on festivals like Diwali, Pongal, New year day Christmas Ramadan, and other festivals and ensure that they are taken care as any normal child requires. You may also join as a member life member and promote our social work.

The best service that you can do is that you may visit our ashram as and when you are free and see by your self the service we do and that your visit will certainly boost the morale of our kids and that their inferiority complex of being an Orphan will be totally eradicated and that you will also have the pleasure of being with the sea of humanity our kids would love to see you at their home.

You can also pass on our services through inter net to as many friends well wishers who may also support our noble cause as you may also intend to do.
