NEW EXHIBITION OF V.P. VASUHAN : PAPILLON DE PARIS 10ème

The opening of V.P. VASUHAN’s fifth painting exhibition “PAPILLON DE PARIS 10ème”, will take place on 24.11.2007 after 3 pm, at BAYADERE, 23 rue Louis Blanc 75010 Paris. This exhibition will present more than 15 new artworks representing V.P.Vasuhan’s current creations.

The artist’s biography:

Born V.P.Vasuhan in Alaveddy, grew up in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Lived in Cyprus and has now moved to France (Paris).
Studied at Mahajena College, Thelipalai – Colombo Hindu College, Sri Lanka, and finished his higher studies at the Center of Higher Studies (Casa college) , Nicosia , Cyprus.
He has always participated in art events and exhibitions throughout his studies.
His first show on large canvas, was in 1997 – at the Melina Mercuri Hall, Nicosia, Cyprus, where he participated with five Cypriot and one British artists.
He also worked as an Assistant for his art teacher Mr.Glyn Hughes.
His first Solo exhibition was in 2004 – Bayadere, Paris, France, but he has also had several exhibitions elsewhere in Paris and throughout France.
