Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a regular reader of Thinnai on-line for the last three years. I would like to share some information about Tamil related activities in the bay area,California, USA.

California Tamil Academy (CTA)(a non-profit organization)in the Bay Area runs Tamil schools for the kids and adults. There are four branches at De Anza college-Cupertino, Horner Junior School-Fremont, Tom Matsumoto School-San Jose and Harvest Park Middle
School-Pleasanton. More than 800 students are learning in all these schools. The schools are completely run by parent volunteers including teachers. These schools are well organized and the syllabus is based on Tamilnadu government text book Standard. The classes start from the last week of August to 3rd week of May. More details are at

CTA celebrated the Annual day on May 20th at Foot Hill College Cupertino. There were more than 70 programs of dance, songs, and other cultural shows performed by 800 kids all in Tamil for more than 10 hours.
