Words wont be enough to describe the calamity caused by the tsunami that hit the South India. Tamilnadu, which faced great devastation, is in need of help, mere help from the government will not be able to solve the problem being faced by the destitute. It needs help from all of us, the eminent danger of spread of diseases in the affected area should be halted by all means.

We here in Chennai are trying to mobilize some funds for rehabilitation work that has to be conducted on a war footing in various parts of the State. As you know about Imaigal, a non-profit organization that was started by us two years back.

Imaigal has joined hands with Indian Medical Association (IMA) Teynampet, to conduct medical camps in the various affected areas. Imaigal is in need of funds to purchase medicines for running the camp. Hence Imaigal is collecting funds from people of various walks of life. Imaigal is expecting Philanthropists to contribute as much as they can so that it reaches the needy.

The funds donated are exempted from Income Tax under
